This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional who enjoys partnering closely with operational leaders and contributing to broader people strategy across the business. Supporting both site and corporate teams, you’ll provide practical, people-focused HR support across the full employee lifecycle — including employee relations, workforce planning, leadership coaching, performance management, and broader people initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with operational leaders to support workforce performance and business objectives
- Provide expert advice across employee relations, investigations, performance management, and workplace matters
- Support leadership teams with coaching, people development, and capability uplift initiatives
- Drive HR initiatives aligned to workforce planning, retention, engagement, and culture
- Ensure HR practices remain compliant with employment legislation, policies, and industrial frameworks
- Analyse workforce trends and HR data to support informed business decisions
- Collaborate with recruitment and mobilisation teams to support workforce requirements across operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement across HR processes, systems, and people practices
About You
- Previous experience in a HR Business Partner or senior HR Advisory role within mining, resources, construction, or other operational environments
- Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation, employee relations, and contemporary HR practices
- Confident partnering with operational and site-based leaders in fast-paced environments
- Ability to influence, coach, and build trusted relationships across all levels of the business
- Experience managing complex people matters with a practical and solutions-focused approach
- Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or a related discipline
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as SuccessFactors will be highly regarded
- Willingness to travel to site as required
