Account Executive – Commercial Insurance (Hybrid)
About the Role
Join a well-established Western Australian insurance brokerage that has been supporting businesses for over 30 years. With multiple offices across the state and strong partnerships with leading insurers, the business provides tailored insurance and risk management solutions to a broad range of SME and commercial clients.
We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join the South Perth office. In this role, you will manage an established portfolio of mixed SME commercial accounts in a fast-paced, high-volume environment, working alongside a small team of experienced brokers.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an existing portfolio valued at approximately $300K in income
- Service a high-volume book of SME accounts
- Manage renewals, policy adjustments, and client enquiries
- Provide advice on coverage options and risk management
- Maintain strong relationships with insurers and clients
- Ensure compliance with Tier 1 and regulatory requirements
- Work closely with the broking team to deliver high-quality service
About You
- Tier 1 Insurance Broking qualification (essential)
- Experience managing high-volume SME portfolios independently (2+ years)
- Able to hit the ground running with minimal supervision
- Strong organisational and time management skills
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
