Build a new sports advertising platform from the ground up
The Organisation
Think Talent is working with a well-funded sports technology start-up building a premium, social-first global platform for the sports industry.
This ambitious venture is creating a dedicated digital ecosystem connecting athletes, sporting professionals, fans and brands through a mobile-first experience spanning content, community, engagement, monetisation, subscriptions and advertising.
As part of its next stage of growth, the business is building a new sports advertising platform and Brand Portal to support commercial scale, advertiser engagement and long-term monetisation.
The Opportunity
This is a rare opportunity to help shape an advertising platform from the ground up.
We are looking for someone who understands how advertising platforms actually work, how campaigns are designed, inventory is managed, ads are served, reporting works, and how commercial ideas are translated into scalable product and engineering solutions.
You will work closely with the Chief Product Officer, engineering, design and commercial teams to define the MVP and longer-term strategy for the platform.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Shape the product direction and roadmap for the advertising platform and Brand Portal.
- Define campaign, inventory, targeting, reporting and attribution models.
- Translate commercial advertising requirements into clear product and engineering-ready specifications.
- Support the design of campaign management workflows and advertiser self-service functionality.
- Work across ad serving, delivery logic, audience segmentation and reporting.
- Partner with engineering on integrations, data flows, analytics and platform scalability.
- Provide clarity around priorities, trade-offs and delivery outcomes.
About You
- You understand the product and technical mechanics behind advertising platforms and can bridge the gap between commercial intent and technical delivery.
- You will bring:
- Experience in AdTech, programmatic, retail media, publisher advertising or media platforms.
- Strong understanding of campaign management, inventory, ad serving, targeting, reporting and attribution.
- Ability to translate commercial requirements into product and engineering-ready solutions.
- Experience working with product, engineering and commercial teams.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
