Jayce Grayye Consulting is seeking a Marketing Manager for one of our clients! They are a creative marketing agency based in Alberta, Canada. With two founders. They are both young entrepreneurs (in their 20s) who are extremely passionate about building and creating value for other entrepreneurs and brands through online marketing services.
They are a fast-growing start-up agency that focuses on working with personal brands specifically in the real estate industry. They help agents and large teams to automate and scale their content post-production. They take care of video editing, design, social media management, youtube SEO, copywriting, project management, advertising, and more. They are a completely freelance team. Structure & Compensation
- Full Time & Fully Remote
- $4,000 to $4,500 cad Starting Salary Per Month
- Growth Investment Structure Custom Created Meaning that your 12-month proposal will have the opportunity to grow every other month as you build value in the company.
- Opportunity to grow towards $5,000 to $7,000+ in the company as you reach a director position.
- Flexible full-time hours based on your time zone, but be prepared to be available during business hours ie 9 am to 6 pm est
- Independent Contractor-Based Position - However seeking a long-term team member

Marketing Managers are responsible for
- Creating marketing campaigns and strategies that our clients can use to attract new customers
- Managing the entire marketing process, from brainstorming ideas to evaluating campaign results.
- Planning, developing and executing marketing campaigns that promote a company’s products or services.
- Overseeing the implementation of marketing plans, which may include developing pricing strategies, coordinating product development, and conducting market research.
- Tracking sales data and analyzing customer feedback to determine whether marketing campaigns are successful and make adjustments as needed.
- Overseeing the development and implementation of digital marketing initiatives, such as developing a website, launching a new brand, youtube video results, etc.
- Help with launching online advertising campaigns with the specific goal of increasing brand awareness for clients, such as video views, likes, subscriptions, followers, options etc.
- Managing multiple client ad accounts to track data and results of each campaign.
- Tracking and showing clients data reports - building an effective data reporting system
- Coaching real estate agents on best practices for their marketing efforts, what they can be doing personally to grow their business, and campaign ideas we can work on together with the agent for example new local events or email/lead magnets, etc.
- Working with social media managers to lead/direct/implement effective marketing strategies in alignment with client’s needs/goals.
Your Goals As a Marketing Manager
- Help real estate agents to grow their business in the shortest time possible and in the most effective and efficient way while balancing and utilizing time, efforts and resources of both the client and the team. (How can we help the agent double their sales in the next 6 months, but not go over the marketing budget/time allotted?)
- Have a reporting system that shows clients positive small and big wins that are easy to understand, and to further help with client retention
- Run/Manage ad campaigns that provide growth to the client’s social media presence, generate more website traffic, etc. (using organic content to grow the awareness of the brand online in multiple ways)
- Run client calls with the client success and creative manager
Skills Required
- 2+ years digital marketing experience
- Ideally real estate marketing experience but not required
- Must have skills on how to work with ad campaigns - Generating traffic/likes/subscribers.
- Google SEO and YouTube SEO - Ranking brands on search engines.
- Data/Analytics - Creating and Presenting Reports
- Public Speaking, Communication, Presenting - Major requirement
- Design, Editing, Creative skills - Understanding how branding works, if ever small tweaks are required to marketing materials. (working with photoshop/adobe/figma etc)
Day In The Life As a Marketing Manager (In no specific order)
- Checking every client project KPIs/results on a daily basis.
- Attending client meetings
- Attending team meetings
- Creating videos for training (client and teams)
- Creating processes/maps/SOPs for marketing systems.
- Launching, Optimizing and Advising on ad campaigns.
- Working with the website team to launch effective strategic sites.
- Providing consultation support on overall work being produced by a team, such as overlooking marketing material, overlooking copy/cta/content for a sales funnel, etc.
- Running/Fully leading onboarding calls specifically for the
- marketing section with the Client.
- Building case studies of client results. (Where the client was when started with HCC, to where they are now in X time frame achieving Y results through Z efforts)
- Finding new ways, improving current ways, and removing/adjusting old processes help our team get our clients better results. (New AI tools, new platforms, new content trends, etc)
Other Things To Note About The Position
- The marketing manager will be a part of all the projects in HCC. Will be responsible for the entire portfolio of the company. Not just a select few clients.
- The marketing manager is NOT a project manager, nor an editor, designer and social media manager. They do not have to be creating posts, or editing videos or making designs. All of the content creation work will be done by the creative team. The MM overlooks the creative team to ensure that the content being created makes sense strategically.
- The marketing manager will be working closely with the creative manager. To ensure that both creative and marketing align towards the same goals, and both are leading the creative team together.
- The marketing manager will be required to attend client calls and also take part in client success work.
- Will be required to understand each client’s market really well, and know the trends, events, local competitors, etc in the area and be able to coach the real estate agent on best practices, tactics, strategies and ideas that they can personally implement and that our team also execute.
- Checking in on each project to make sure the project is moving forward in the right direction within the ideal timeline to hit specific KPIs that effect the outcome of results for the client. (For example, making sure the website is launched by week 5 according to quality and strategy standards)
THE ULTIMATE GOAL FOR THE MARKETING MANAGER IS TO BE ABLE TO PRODUCE A
POSITIVE CASE STUDY FOR THE CLIENT.
A case study should include where the client was before they got started with us, the
transformation we gave them, the results we generated, sales data, and how our company overall helped the client to achieve their goals. The marketing manager is extremely focused on generating as many winning case studies as possible with the entire goal is transforming lives and genuinely helping as many clients to see a positive ROI.
