Our client is an established Australian manufacturer supplying precast concrete products to the civil and water infrastructure sector. Are you a hands on production leader with a background in concrete, precast, or manufacturing environments? We're looking for a Concrete Plant Manager to take ownership of a busy, high volume production site based in Riverview.

About the Role
You'll be responsible for the daily running of the concrete production operation, leading a multi team workforce through a period of significant process improvement. The site is transitioning from traditional batch production toward a continuous flow model, so you'll play a key role in embedding new ways of working, standardising processes across shifts, and lifting overall output without adding cost.
 
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily production planning, scheduling and team allocation across multiple work crews
• Drive consistency and standard work across teams, reducing variability between shifts
• Lead layout, workflow and process improvement initiatives to lift plant throughput
• Manage labour, materials and equipment (forklifts, cranes, mobile plant) efficiently across the site
• Champion a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with site safety standards
• Build cross skilling across teams to improve flexibility and reduce bottlenecks
• Report on production KPIs and support senior leadership with improvement planning
• Manage relationships with internal stakeholders and support broader site coordination

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience managing or supervising a concrete, precast, or manufacturing production plant
• Demonstrated experience leading teams of a similar size (40+), including managing through a Supervisor or team leader layer
• Strong understanding of lean production principles, continuous flow, or process improvement methodology (highly regarded)
• Confident leading and developing teams, including rostering and performance management
• Comfortable working in an outdoor, industrial production environment
• Strong communication skills and a proactive, solutions focused approach
• Current driver's licence; forklift or crane tickets are a plus
