About The Company
Take the operational reins of a growing Australian civil infrastructure business, reporting directly to the Managing Director. Our client designs, manufactures and delivers infrastructure solutions across councils, engineers, and Tier 1 and Tier 2 civil contractors nationally. With a strong pipeline of new business ahead, they're now looking for an experienced COO to build the operational muscle to match their growth.
The Role
As COO, you'll own operational performance end-to-end, manufacturing, project delivery and installation, while working closely with the MD on the commercial strategy driving the business forward. You understand how a stormwater project moves from council-approved spec through to Tier 1 delivery, and you know how to build the systems, people and processes to scale a business without losing delivery quality.

The Role

What You'll Do
- Take full ownership of day-to-day operations across delivery, manufacturing and installation
- Build operational capacity to support a growing pipeline of Tier 1 and Tier 2 contractor work
- Maintain and grow relationships with councils, engineers and Tier 2 contractors
- Partner with the MD on strategy, new markets and commercial growth
- Lead and develop operations and delivery teams
- Report on KPIs, project performance and capacity planning at leadership level
- 10+ years in civil engineering, construction, industrial or water infrastructure
- Demonstrated operational performance in a senior leadership role (COO, GM Operations, Operations Director or similar)
- Strong understanding of civil works and the project lifecycle
- Established relationships with Tier 1/Tier 2 contractors, councils and engineers
- A genuine track record of scaling operations to match business growth
- Brisbane-based preferred, but open to strong candidates elsewhere
