About the Role
We’re partnering with a leading, well known organisation to recruit a Detection & Response Analyst to join their growing Cyber Resilience team.
This role plays a critical part in maintaining an effective cyber defence capability—protecting digital assets, responding to threats, and proactively hunting vulnerabilities across enterprise systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate incident response, including triage and investigation
• Protect digital assets from malicious activity across the organisation
• Identify, assess, monitor, and report on cyber threats, risks, and improvements
• Perform proactive threat hunting across networks and systems
• Act as an escalation point for a 24/7 Security Operations Centre (SOC)
• Monitor and optimise security tooling including SIEM, EDR, DLP (e.g. Splunk, Microsoft Defender, Sentinel) 
• Contribute to automation and continuous improvement across detection and response capabilities 

About You

• 2–5+ years’ experience in a SOC or cyber security operations environment
• Background as a SOC Analyst (Level 2+), Cyber Analyst, Detection & Response Analyst, or Security Engineer
• Strong experience in incident response, threat detection, or threat hunting
• Familiarity with frameworks such as MITRE ATT&CK or Cyber Kill Chain 
• Exposure to tools like Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, Defender, or similar
• Certifications or targeted vendor training (e.g. Microsoft, Cisco) are advantageous
