As a Senior Insights Advisor, you will play a prominent role in conducting research and developing meaningful and actionable customer insights, to generate positive outcomes and make a difference to our 8 million+ customers.
You will be part of a team of highly skilled and passionate insights professionals that provide actionable insights to NSW Government departments, Ministers and Cabinet.
Description
- Playing a key role in the design, set-up, and implementation of critical insights programs, working with stakeholders across NSW Government
- Supporting the Customer Insights Manager in the end-to-end delivery of these insights projects – including project management, stakeholder management, workshops, research and questionnaire design, fieldwork management, data analysis, and reporting
- Leveraging a variety of data sets (including both primary and secondary data) in analysis and reporting – developing clear insights and delivering concrete recommendations
- Applying best practice project management principles to ensure efficient and effective use of project resources to deliver objectives within established timeframes and project plans
- Providing research advice and expertise to internal and external stakeholders, including seeking out opportunities and implementing solutions to improve sector capability in using customer insights and analysis
A successful Senior Insights Advisor should have:
- 7+ years’ experience working in agency or client-side in a customer research or insights-focused role
- Experience in customised market research programs, techniques, and tools
- Strong experience in quantitative market research is essential, while experience in qualitative research is beneficial
- Experience in data analysis and using multiple data sources to generate insights and recommendations
- Experience in report writing and storytelling – generating clear, actionable insights and delivering concrete recommendations
- Experience in research and questionnaire design
- Experience in fieldwork management
- Strong proficiency in the Microsoft Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, and Word)
- Strong proficiency with Q Research Software is essential
