We are partnering with a large, complex organisation undergoing a major learning and capability transformation.
This role will play a critical part in rebuilding learning architecture, designing competency frameworks, and ensuring operational workforces are trained, capable, and audit-ready.
This is not a BAU learning role. This is transformation.
The Opportunity
You will lead the development and redesign of learning documentation, competency frameworks, and training structures that underpin operational capability across multiple sites.
You will work closely with senior stakeholders, learning leaders, and technical subject matter experts to rebuild learning systems from the ground up.
Key Responsibilities
• Develop training plans, task descriptions, and competency frameworks
• Design and maintain high-quality work instructions and learning documentation
• Partner with SMEs to capture operational knowledge and convert into structured learning
• Ensure learning documentation is compliant, version-controlled, and audit-ready
• Support broader learning transformation and capability uplift initiatives
• Apply structured instructional design principles across operational job families
• Support the rollout and standardisation of learning across multiple sites
About You
You will likely come from a manufacturing, logistics, industrial, or operational environment where structured training and documentation are critical
.
You will bring:
• Experience in instructional design or learning consulting
• Experience developing competency-based training frameworks
• Strong technical writing and documentation capability
• Experience building SOPs, task descriptions, or operational learning documentation
• Experience working with SMEs and operational stakeholders
• Experience supporting transformation or capability uplift programs
Highly regarded:
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment
• Experience in industrial, FMCG, logistics, or operational environments
• Experience working in transformation or change programs
