Accountant (33k x 13 months, MNC, Financial Reporting)

About the Opportunity

Our client is a well-established MNC seeking an Accountant to join its Hong Kong finance team. This role will focus on financial reporting, month-end closing, audit support, tax coordination, and business analysis, while working closely with regional stakeholders and external partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries, monthly financial statements, and month-end closing activities.
• Perform balance sheet reconciliations and financial analysis for management reporting.
• Assist with annual audits and coordinate with external auditors.
• Support tax filing processes with external tax advisors.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on claims, disputes, and finance-related matters.
• Handle ad hoc reporting, analysis, and accounting projects.

Requirements

• Degree holder in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• Professional qualification (HKICPA, ACCA, CPA, CIA, or equivalent) is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in audit, financial reporting, or commercial accounting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel; knowledge of Dynamics AX is an advantage.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
