- Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business growth, inventory optimization, and operational efficiency.
- Lead demand forecasting, demand planning, and supply planning activities to ensure appropriate stock levels while balancing service, inventory turns, and working capital objectives.
- Drive strategic initiatives and process improvements that enhance overall supply chain performance.
- Oversee inventory planning and control across multiple product categories and distribution locations.
- Improve and refine forecasting methodologies and planning models to increase forecast accuracy and procurement effectiveness.
- Partner closely with commercial, product, and operations teams to align inventory strategies with customer demand and business objectives.
- Monitor inventory performance metrics and implement corrective actions where necessary.
- Lead, coach, and develop a supply chain team in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
- Establish performance objectives, track KPIs, and drive team effectiveness.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction, productivity enhancement, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with logistics and warehouse functions to ensure effective inventory deployment and on-time fulfillment.
- Utilize data analytics, technology, and supply chain tools to support decision-making and operational improvements.
- Resolve complex supply chain challenges through structured analysis and practical problem-solving.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or above in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of progressive supply chain management experience, including leadership responsibilities within a distribution, trading, or global supply chain environment.
- Experience in MRO, aviation industry is highly preferred.
- Experience managing inventory-intensive operations and multi-location distribution networks.
- Industry experience within highly regulated, technical, engineering, industrial, manufacturing, or aftermarket sectors will be an advantage.
- Strong expertise in demand forecasting, supply planning, inventory management, and S&OP processes.
- Proven track record of balancing inventory availability, turnover, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving capabilities.
- Experience using ERP, supply chain planning, and inventory management systems.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
