Jayce Grayye Consulting is seeking an experienced New Business Development Professional for one of our clients. They are an innovative, entrepreneurial provider of custom injection molding services. As a New Business Development Professional, you'll have the unique opportunity to build and develop this territory for our client to drive revenue growth in the Southeast US.
Purpose of the Role:
The NBD Account Executive will play a crucial role in driving new customer acquisitions and expanding relationships with current customers to unlock sales growth through a strategic selling process. The ideal candidate will partner closely with sales team members, engineering, and site operations teams to integrate customers with our client’s capabilities and business. This role requires effective technical sales skills and the ability to sell a comprehensive and strategic view of our client to customers in the injection molding division.
Responsibilities:
- Build and nurture partnerships that lead to long-term enterprise value.
- Acquire new customers in the designated territory and convert them into revenue-generating accounts.
- Grow existing customer relationships and drive year-over-year pipeline and sales growth.
- Develop and execute an aggressive client acquisition strategy across Life Sciences & Consumer verticals.
- Provide detailed and accurate sales forecasting using Salesforce and other software tools.
- Collaborate with legal counsel and internal stakeholders to navigate complex contracting arrangements, including long-term agreements.
- Present and sell a vision of collaboration and long-term partnership to prospective customers.
- Create and refine the process for enterprise-level customer acquisition and continuously improve this process.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience in customer-centric roles.
- 5+ years of experience in injection molding, mold tooling, or related industries is required.
- Established business connections within the injection molding and tooling space.
- Deep understanding of manufacturing nuances and customer needs.
- Proven track record of developing and growing new customer relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to drive commercial innovation.
- Quick learner with the agility to manage multiple (20+), distinct customers.
- Success in a manufacturing sales organization with the ability to establish strong relationships across supporting functions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams to define offerings and market capabilities and forge new manufacturing partnerships through innovative approaches.
- Strategic enterprise sales experience with a history of achieving revenue goals through multiple technical product offerings.
- Creative thinker with the ability to find new ways to create value.
- Proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create organized, well-constructed presentations and spreadsheets.
- Experience with CRM systems.
- Industry background required.
