About the Role
As a key member of the architecture team, you’ll design and evolve solutions that connect complex systems across modern cloud platforms.
You’ll play a critical role in shaping integration and data platform architectures across core business areas — including digital platforms, content operations, revenue systems, and enterprise data ecosystems.
You’ll work closely with engineering, data, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into secure, scalable designs that deliver real business impact. What You’ll Do
- Design and guide the delivery of solutions that balance business outcomes with technical excellence, scalability, and security.
- Develop architectures for integrations, data flows, and analytics pipelines across AWS and Azure environments.
- Work heavily with vendors to integrate their applications with yours.
- Partner with delivery teams to ensure alignment with enterprise standards and target-state architecture.
- Define and evolve reference architectures, reusable patterns, and design frameworks to mature the enterprise architecture practice.
- Mentor engineers, promote best practice, and contribute to architectural governance.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and identify opportunities to modernise and optimise systems.
- Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-level solutions in complex environments.
- Strong background in integration design (API-led, event-driven, hybrid connectivity) — ideally using AWS technologies such as API Gateway, Lambda, EventBridge, and SNS.
- Good understanding of data and analytics architectures using Azure, including Data Lake and Databricks.
- Strong experience working with vendors and integrating with their applications.
- Sound knowledge of data flows, platform design, data quality, and governance.
- Ability to operate from enterprise patterns through to detailed technical design (data pipelines, integration flows, connectivity).
- A secure-by-design mindset, incorporating identity, compliance, and data protection into every solution.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills — able to engage both technical and business audiences.
- A collaborative, pragmatic, and commercially aware approach to architecture.
