Our Client: 

We are supporting a major operational optimisation programme focused on improving how real-time network performance is monitored, interpreted and acted upon. This programme operates in a live, operational environment where monitoring, visibility and decision-making are critical.

The Role: 

You will act as a senior operational SME within a complex technology programme, ensuring monitoring solutions are practical, fit-for-purpose and successfully embedded into day-to-day operations.

Depending on your strengths, your focus may lean toward either:

Operational Visualisation and Insight

• Shaping real-time dashboards and monitoring capability
• Translating frontline operational needs into actionable requirements
• Supporting solution validation, assessments and pilot activities
• Ensuring tools enhance situational awareness and response capability

Programme Delivery and Operational Embedment

• Supporting structured testing and validation activities
• Coordinating user acceptance processes across stakeholder groups
• Identifying operational risks and driving early mitigation
• Supporting go-live planning and transition into sustainable BAU ownership
• Working alongside change and readiness teams to ensure capability uplift

Across both streams, you will operate as a bridge between operational teams and technology delivery, ensuring outcomes align with real-world network performance needs.

Key Requirements: 

• 5+ years’ experience in operational technology, product ownership, programme delivery or senior business analysis
• Experience working in real-time or monitoring-driven environments
• Exposure to infrastructure-heavy sectors such as transport, utilities, telecommunications or similar
• Confidence operating across multiple stakeholder groups
• Strong risk awareness and structured delivery capability
• Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency

Experience with monitoring platforms, operational dashboards or Intelligent Transport Systems is advantageous but not essential if you bring strong adjacent experience.
