Marketing & Communications Lead

We're partnering with a well-respected New Zealand not-for-profit that's making a genuine difference to the lives of Kiwi families. Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll join a close-knit team where your ideas, initiative and contribution will have real influence.

This is a role for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with delivery. You'll shape the organisation's marketing and communications direction while remaining hands-on writing compelling content, building the brand, managing PR and supporting digital marketing initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing and delivering the marketing and communications strategy.
• Protecting and growing a trusted New Zealand brand.
• Writing compelling communications including donor communications, media releases, executive messaging and organisational content.
• Leading public relations and media engagement.
• Overseeing digital marketing across the website, social media, email marketing and digital content.
• Partnering closely with the CEO and Leadership Team to support organisational priorities.
• Using data and insights to continually improve marketing performance.
• Identifying opportunities to strengthen brand awareness and stakeholder engagement.
• Leading and supporting a small team of marketing professionals.

About you:

• Proven experience in a senior marketing and communications role.
• Exceptional writing and storytelling skills, with the ability to tailor content for a range of audiences.
• Strong experience across brand, communications, digital marketing and public relations.
• Experience developing and delivering marketing strategies.
• Confidence partnering with senior leaders and providing trusted advice.
• A collaborative, hands-on approach and the ability to adapt in a small team environment.
• Experience in the not-for-profit sector is advantageous but not essential.
