About the Position

The school is seeking a full-time ongoing English Teacher to commence in Term 1, 2027. This role involves teaching Secondary English, delivering engaging and inclusive lessons while supporting students to develop strong literacy, critical thinking and communication skills.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum.

• Maintain a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment.

• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues.

• Work collaboratively with the English faculty and broader teaching team.

• Contribute to curriculum planning, assessment and student learning outcomes.

Requirements

• Relevant teaching qualification.

• Current or eligible Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) registration.

• Ability to teach Secondary English.

• Commitment to child safety and student wellbeing.

• Willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school.
