About the Position

This full-time ongoing position commences in Term 3, 2026 and involves teaching Mathematics across Years 7–12. The successful candidate will join a collaborative faculty committed to developing strong numeracy skills, analytical thinking and student confidence in mathematics. This role would suit an educator who is passionate about helping students achieve academic success while fostering curiosity, problem-solving and real-world application of mathematical concepts.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Mathematics lessons across Years 7–12, aligned with curriculum requirements.
• Use data-informed practices to support student growth and achievement.
• Foster a safe, inclusive and supportive classroom environment that promotes student wellbeing and engagement.
• Communicate effectively with students, families and colleagues regarding student progress and learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with colleagues to contribute to curriculum development, assessment practices and broader school initiatives.

Requirements

• Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Northern Territory Teacher Registration.
• Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
• Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
