Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English programs across Years 7-10 in line with the Victorian Curriculum.
• Create inclusive and supportive learning environments that promote student engagement and achievement.
• Assess, monitor and report on student progress using a range of assessment strategies.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues, families and the wider school community to support student outcomes.
• Uphold child safety requirements and contribute positively to the broader life of the school.

Requirements

• Registration with or eligibility for registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT).
• Full Australian work rights.
• Ability to provide two professional referees and complete HARKE's safeguarding onboarding process.
• Relevant teaching qualifications with the ability to teach English.
