About the Position

An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced Senior School English Teacher to join the College on a permanent, full-time basis commencing Term 1, 2027. The successful applicant will teach Senior English, with experience teaching Stage 6 and English Extension 1 viewed favourably. This role would suit an educator who is passionate about academic excellence, values collaborative practice, and is committed to inspiring students to achieve their personal best.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English programs across the senior secondary years, aligned with the NSW curriculum.
• Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and fostering a positive learning environment.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues to support student achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance curriculum delivery, assessment practices, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrate leadership within the faculty and contribute positively to the wider life of the College.

Requirements

• Hold current NESA Teacher Accreditation.
• Secondary teaching qualifications specialising in English.
• Experience teaching Stage 6 English, with English Extension 1 experience highly regarded.
• Be an active and practising member of a Bible-based Christian church, able to support the Christian ethos of the College.
• Full working rights in Australia and the ability to provide professional references.
