About the Position
This full-time 6-month contract position is an excellent opportunity for a qualified Health and Physical Education Teacher seeking a rewarding role in a supportive school community. The successful candidate will deliver engaging HPE programs across secondary year levels, promoting physical activity, health literacy, teamwork, and student wellbeing. The role would suit an educator who is passionate about encouraging students to lead active and healthy lifestyles while contributing positively to the broader school community.
Skills and Responsibilities

Deliver engaging and curriculum-aligned Health and Physical Education lessons across secondary year levels.

Promote student wellbeing, participation, teamwork, and positive health outcomes.

Foster a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment that supports student success.

Monitor student progress and provide timely feedback to students and families.

Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practice and contribute to whole-school initiatives.
Requirements

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain Northern Territory Teacher Registration.

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
