About the Role

This position is available from the commencement of Term 3 and will continue through to the end of the 2026 school year, covering a parental leave vacancy. There is also potential for the role to extend into 2027 due to reduced teaching loads across the school.

The successful candidate will work with students who have diverse learning, social, emotional, and behavioural needs. Every student follows an individualised learning plan, with learning experiences tailored to their goals, interests, and support requirements. This role is suited to an educator who is passionate about relationship-based teaching and committed to supporting students to achieve positive educational outcomes.

Skills and Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging and differentiated learning programs tailored to individual student needs.
  • Build strong and positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues.
  • Support students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioural development.
  • Collaborate with staff to develop and review individual learning plans.
  • Contribute to a positive, inclusive, and student-centred learning environment.
Requirements
  • Current or eligible VIT registration.
  • Experience working with students requiring additional learning and wellbeing support highly regarded.
  • Strong behaviour management and relationship-building skills.
  • Current driver's licence and willingness to travel between campuses using a company pool vehicle if required.
  • Full Australian work rights.
  • Two referees and completion of HARKE safeguarding onboarding requirements.
