Business Data Analyst – Technology Assets

12-Month Contract | $700–$850 per day

We’re partnering with a leading financial institution on a large-scale data uplift program, focused on improving the quality, governance, and usability of technology asset data across the enterprise.

This is a high-impact role for a Business Data Analyst who enjoys working at the intersection of data, process, and risk—helping uplift how technology assets are understood and managed across their lifecycle.

The Role

You’ll work closely with stakeholders across technology and risk to understand the end-to-end lifecycle of technology assets, identifying data gaps and improving how asset information is captured, structured, and governed.

Key responsibilities include:

• Analysing and improving technology asset lifecycle processes
• Working with CMDB / asset registers to uplift data quality and completeness
• Performing SQL-driven analysis and data cleansing to identify inconsistencies and gaps
• Supporting process mapping, root cause analysis, and problem-solving activities
• Collaborating with stakeholders to drive data governance and standards uplift
• Producing clear, structured documentation and reporting
• Contributing to a broader enterprise data uplift program

What You’ll Bring

• Experience as a Business/Data Analyst within enterprise environments
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis, validation, and cleansing
• Exposure to CMDB, asset registers, or technology asset management
• Experience in data quality improvement, process mapping, or continuous improvement
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and collaboration skills
• Experience working in ITIL-aligned environments (ITIL v3 or ITIL 4 highly regarded)
• Background in financial services or large complex organisations preferred
