The Senior Wintel Infrastructure Engineer will play a key role in supporting  Microsoft and Windows platforms across a modern hybrid environment, including the underlying servers and storage hardware infrastructure. You’ll work across identity, collaboration, endpoint and server technologies, ensuring stable, secure and well documented operations.

This role will support the delivery of key security transformation projects ensuring secure, scalable, and compliant Windows-based infrastructure across on-premises and Microsoft Azure platform.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, operate and maintain enterprise Wintel platforms including AD, DNS, DHCP, VPN, GPO and Windows Server.
• Administer identity services across Active Directory, Entra ID, hybrid sync, MFA and Conditional Access
• Support M365 and Exchange Online, including mail flow, reporting, shared mailboxes and collaboration issues.
• Manage SCCM/MECM for application packaging, patching, task sequences and endpoint compliance
• Provide L3 support for Windows Servers, Teams Rooms, meeting room systems and endpoint escalations
• Maintain PKI, certificates, TLS configurations, and secure communication standards
• Automate operational tasks using PowerShell, ensuring version control and documentation
• Manage Microsoft Defender suite (Endpoint, Identity, Office 365) and security uplift initiatives
• Exposure to Intune for compliance policies, device management and hybrid endpoint governance
• Extensive experience of encryption standards, secure key management, certificate lifecycle and CA operations
• Manage RBAC, PIM roles, and least privilege access models across cloud and on‑prem
• Understanding of PAM solutions, privileged access workflows and secure admin boundaries
• Experience with Application Control platforms (Airlock Digital or equivalent) and macro security enforcement
• Experience in managing and supporting backup and recovery systems to ensure data integrity and availability.
• Maintain accurate documentation for Wintel, identity, M365, SCCM and certificate services

Required skills and experiences:

• • Strong expertise in Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPN, GPO, and enterprise Wintel administration
  • Deep experience with Microsoft Entra ID, hybrid identity, AAD Connect sync, MFA and Conditional Access
  • Advanced skills in M365 / Exchange Online mail flow, reporting, collaboration and identity integration
  • Proficient in SCCM/MECM for application packaging, patching, task sequences and endpoint compliance
  • Solid understanding of PKI, certificates, TLS standards, encryption protocols and secure communication
  • Strong PowerShell scripting capability for automation, remediation and operational efficiency
  • Experienced in incident triage, L3 troubleshooting, and cross‑platform problem resolution across Wintel, identity, endpoint and security services
