Jayce Grayye Consulting is seeking a Crew Leader & Climber for one of our clients! Since 2004, our client has been a trusted provider of excellent and customized tree care services to clients in the Northern VA and DC Metropolitan areas. Their comprehensive range of services includes tree pruning, tree trimming, tree removal, hazardous tree takedowns, and more. Structure & Compensation

• Full-time W2 position
• Competitive base salary of $75,000 - $80,000 per year (dependent on experience) + bonus
• Crew Leader Bonus: Earn an additional $250 per crew supervised for each week when all work orders meet client satisfaction
• On Target Earnings: Up to $92,000 USD per year

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of 4, including Climbers, Groundmen/Laborers, and Traffic Specialists.
• Organize and prioritize daily work orders to ensure efficient completion.
• Plan ahead for each work day, ensuring timely arrival of personnel and equipment on-site.
• Conduct daily safety briefings to ensure crew preparedness for a safe day of tree work.
• Monitor crew productivity and provide guidance for improved efficiency and safety.
• Care for and maintain equipment, ensuring proper storage and documentation.
• Verify and sign off on work orders and crew timesheets for invoice and payroll processing.
• Maintain company vehicles and equipment, with proactive maintenance planning.
• Ensure all equipment is accounted for and in good condition at the end of each work day.
• Safeguard against property damage during task completions.

Qualifications

• Essential: Prior experience in safe and efficient tree climbing.
• Preferred: Arborist experience is highly desirable.
• Bilingual: Proficiency in Spanish is a significant advantage.
• Ability to drive a truck.
