The Hawke's Bay Rescue Helicopter Trust (HBRHT) is one of the region's most recognised and valued charities. It provides an essential life-saving service 24/7, including inter-hospital transfers, emergency response and search and rescue missions. This region, all of us, rely heavily on having the assurance that their team members remain in the air, and successfully get to every far and away post for every mission required.
The Marketing & Fundraising Specialist will help drive its continued sustainability and community impact. This hands on role will see you leading the development and execution of fundraising, sponsorship, philanthropy, and supporting marketing initiatives that strengthen the Trust's profile, deepen stakeholder relationships, and secure vital funding streams to support operational costs.
A core focus of the role will be identifying and cultivating meaningful partnerships while maintaining and growing relationships with existing donors, sponsors, grant providers, and supporters. You will be responsible for developing and executing fundraising and sponsorship strategies, preparing and managing grant funding applications, contribute to identifying new revenue opportunities, and maximising the effectiveness of fundraising activities within budget. Equally important will be your contribution to elevating the Trust's brand presence through supporting well-executed marketing and communications initiatives that increase awareness, engagement, and community support.
To be successful, you must have experience in fundraising, and ideally have marketing expertise that will help to raise the profile of HBRHT. Most importantly, you will bring genuine passion for community impact, and have the credibility to establish lasting relationships with a broad range of stakeholders, including donors, sponsors, community leaders, and key influencers. You must have the drive and know how to generate sustainable income streams to support the Trust's ongoing success.

The Trust is seeking interest from individuals keen to engage in a contract for service capacity. Remuneration will be on an hourly rate, for up to 25 hours per week.
