Apply directThe Accounts Receivable position will oversee cash applications for 600+ home loans and collections to ensure accounts are current. This position offers a unique blend of cash applications, collections, and accounts payable duties as well as assisting the supervisor with month-end reconciliation and month-end reporting.
General Accountabilities
- Responsible for home loan cash applications.
- Responsible for collections.
- Responsible for some accounts payable.
- Maintenance of new loans, including reviewing documents for accuracy and completion.
- Generation and processing of welcome letters, statements, and past-due notices.
- Assist with month-end closing including bank reconciliation and monthly reporting to management for multiple companies.
- Position duties and work schedule may change according to business needs at any time or as instructed by management.
- The Company reserves the right to add or change duties at any time.
Job Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of payables, receivables, or general accounting experience required
- AA in Accounting and/or strong understanding of accounting principles
- Spanish speaking preferred
- Excel skills - intermediate to advance
