Civil Design Engineer

Are you a Civil Design Engineer looking to join a well-established consultancy where you'll play a key role in delivering residential land development and road infrastructure projects from concept through to construction?
 
We're partnering with a respected engineering consultancy in Melbourne's eastern suburbs with a long-standing reputation for delivering high-quality civil engineering solutions across residential subdivisions, road design and urban development projects. Due to continued growth, they're looking to appoint an experienced Civil Design Engineer to join their collaborative and supportive team.
 
The Role
 
You'll work closely with experienced engineers and project managers to deliver a diverse range of civil engineering projects, with a primary focus on residential subdivisions and associated road design. Your responsibilities will include:

• Civil design for residential subdivisions and urban development projects.
• Geometric road design, earthworks and pavement design.
• Stormwater drainage, water, sewer, earthworks and water-sensitive urban design.
• Preparation of engineering documentation for planning, approvals and construction.
• Liaising with clients, councils, developers and service authorities.
• Managing projects through design, approvals and construction phases.

This role offers genuine ownership of projects and the opportunity to broaden your technical expertise while working within a highly experienced team.
 
About You
 
To be considered, you'll ideally possess:

• A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• At least 4-5 years' experience within an Australian civil engineering consultancy.
• Proven experience in residential land development, subdivision design and road design projects.
• Strong working knowledge of Victorian design standards, local council requirements and servicing authorities.
• Proficiency in 12D Model and AutoCAD.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
