Facility Manager - Construction

Role

Responsible for managing the preventative, programmed and responsive maintenance and minor works throughout Melbourne on projects up to $1M for newly created division of impressive national head contractor.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for tendering, winning and delivering maintenance related works
• Engaging and nurturing business opportunities and relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Coordinate and ensure all maintenance and minor works related activities are rectified in a professional, safe and timely manner
• Managing relevant job sites/facilities accordingly and appointing contractors to complete works
• Participate in tool box talks, committee meetings and ensure all company policies and compliance is being upheld

Experience required

• Trade background qualification
• Previous Facility Manager experience for a commercial head contractor
• Previous experience tendering and winning work for team
• Strong subcontractor network and hands on approach with rectifying maintenance works
• Ability to create and sustain new business opportunities and client relationships
• Strong interpersonal, communication and leadership skills
• Valid Drivers License and White Card

This role sits within their newly created Facility Management division delivering preventative, maintenance and responsive maintenance works up to $1M.
