About the Position

An opportunity is available for an English Teacher to join the secondary team on a full-time basis for Term 3, 2026. The successful applicant will teach English across Years 7–10. This short-term contract is ideal for an educator who is available to commence immediately and is looking to join a supportive school community while making a positive impact on student learning.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English lessons for students in Years 7–10 in line with the NSW curriculum.

• Maintain a strong commitment to safeguarding, student wellbeing, and creating positive learning environments.

• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student achievement.

• Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning, assessment, and continuous improvement initiatives.

• Contribute positively to the wider school community and faculty programs.

Requirements

• Hold current NESA Teacher Accreditation or be eligible to obtain accreditation.

• Relevant secondary teaching qualifications with the ability to teach English Years 7–10.

• Full working rights in Australia.

• Ability to provide professional references and meet all safeguarding and compliance requirements.
