The Organisation

This progressive ASX listed organisation has experienced significant organic and acquisition related growth and is now entering a critical phase of transformation—reshaping how it operates, scales and delivers value to customers.

With a clear mandate and strategic focus, they are redesigning their operating model to unlock performance, improve accountability, and enable faster, more aligned decision-making across the enterprise to drive sustainable growth.

The Opportunity

This is a rare opportunity to lead the design and rollout of a new enterprise-wide operating model.

Reporting into both the Chief Growth & Transformation Officer and Chief People Officer, you will sit at the centre of a complex transformation, partnering with the CEO, CFO and senior leadership team to define how the organisation is structured, governed and run.

You will lead the end-to-end design and implementation of the operating model—spanning structure, roles, decision rights, governance, processes and systems ownership, ensuring it is not only well designed, but fully embedded.

Key accountabilities:
  • Operating Model Design – Lead the detailed design of the future-state operating model, including structure, roles, governance, decision rights and process ownership
  • Stakeholder Alignment – Partner with the CEO, C-suite and senior leaders to align on key design decisions, trade-offs and priorities
  • Transformation Workstream Leadership – Establish and lead cross-functional workstreams, ensuring clarity of scope, pace and delivery across the program
  • Governance & Decision-Making – Design and embed governance forums, decision-making frameworks, RACI models and escalation pathways
  • Industrial & People Impact – Navigate organisational and industrial implications, ensuring changes are implemented transparently and responsibly
  • Implementation & Rollout – Develop and execute a phased rollout plan, balancing urgency with organisational readiness
  • Change Integration – Work closely with transformation and change teams to ensure the model is adopted and sustained
  • Benefits Realisation – Define and track success metrics, ensuring the new model delivers improved efficiency, clarity and performance

The Right Fit

You are an experienced transformation leader who has designed effective organisation structures in complex manufacturing, supply chain, operations and or retail environments across diverse global portfolios.

You bring both structure and pragmatism, and you know how to navigate complexity to deliver outcomes at pace. Key to success will be leveraging the following capability:
  • Proven experience designing and implementing enterprise operating models in complex organisations as part of people and culture or enterprise transformation programs;
  • Strong stakeholder management capability, with experience influencing executive and board-level leaders;
  • Deep understanding of governance, decision rights, organisational design and process ownership;
  • Experience leading cross-functional transformation program streams that deliver complex outcomes at pace;
  • The ability to deliver value and momentum with consideration of risk, including industrial or workforce implications;
  • Strategic and hands-on delivery that embeds change and new ways of working effectively to lift performance and culture.

Why This Role Matters

This is a unique opportunity to make you mark on an organisation and support a key growth agenda. If successful, you will:
  • Shape how the organisation operates for years to come;
  • Work directly with the executive team on decisions that materially impact performance;
  • Bring clarity to complexity—reducing duplication, accelerating decision-making and improving accountability;
  • Play a central role in a broader transformation agenda that has an enterprise-critical mandate.
