A leading NSW Government organisation delivering essential services across the state is seeking an experienced Claims Advisor with strong Workers’ Compensation experience to join their team on a contract basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience within a respected government environment. The role offers a work-from-home arrangement, with the office conveniently located in Burwood close to public transport. Immediate start available through to November 2026, with potential extension opportunities.

  
The Job…
During this Workers’ Compensation Claims contract, your responsibilities will include:

• Manage Workers’ Compensation claims in line with NSW legislation, SIRA and iCare requirements
• Provide best practice case management and sound claims advice to support effective outcomes
• Manage stakeholder relationships and deliver high-quality customer service
• Assess, resolve and respond to claims enquiries in a timely manner
• Collaborate within the Injury and Claims Management team to support continuous improvement and efficient claims management

  
You…
To be successful for this contract, you must have experience with the following:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience managing end-to-end Workers’ Compensation claims, ideally within a self-insurance environment
• Demonstrated Workers’ Compensation and injury management experience in large, complex organisations
• SIMS experience highly regarded
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills
• Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage key stakeholders
