Underground Service Crew / Nipper | $55ph | DIDO | WA

CELOTTI WORKFORCE is currently seeking experienced Nipper Operators for our clients' underground mining projects based in Western Australia (DIDO ex-Perth).

This opportunity is with a leading underground mining contractor delivering services across major mining operations in Australia and internationally.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Underground Shift Supervisor and incoming/outgoing operators to ensure seamless handovers between shifts
• Prepare headings efficiently and in advance, ensuring all requirements are met for upcoming tasks
• Clear completed headings by removing surplus equipment and unnecessary ground support
• Carry out detailed pre-operational inspections on all equipment before use
• Keep light vehicles clean, serviceable, and report any faults or issues without delay
• Safely operate and care for nipper equipment to maintain optimal performance
• Take part in pre-start and pre-shift briefings, contributing where required
• Inspect equipment and work areas prior to commencing tasks to ensure readiness
• Recognise and report hazards promptly through the site’s reporting systems
• Follow all site procedures, safety standards, and inspection requirements at all times
• Support underground activities by assisting with material movement and general operational tasks as needed

Our Ideal Candidate:

• Minimum 12 months underground mining experience (essential)
• Must be WA-based and available for DIDO from Perth
• Full Australian working rights
• Current National Police Clearance
• Valid Manual Australian Driver's Licence (C Class)
• Current Dangerous Goods Security Card
• Solid understanding of workplace health and safety requirements
• Strong work ethic and reliability
