Key Responsibilities
General Labourer:
- Assisting with concrete pouring, preparation and finishing
- Preparing moulds for the manufacture of concrete sleepers
- Handling and working with concrete mix
- Removing finished sleepers from moulds
- Supporting tradespeople and operators on site
- General site clean-up and maintaining a tidy work environment
- Following all site safety procedures
- Operating a forklift to safely move concrete sleepers around the plant
- Loading, unloading and relocating materials within the yard
- Supplying materials to production areas as required
- Stacking and organising finished products for dispatch
- Conducting basic pre-start checks on equipment
- Assisting with general labouring duties when required
- Maintaining a safe working environment and adhering to site procedures
- Must have a Current Driver’s Licence (no public transport available)
- Forklift Licence (highly desireable) with proven experience
- MUST be clean shaven (site requirement)
- Physically fit and capable of manual labour
- Reliable, punctual and safety-focused
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a team environment
- $32.50 - 36/Hour + Overtime Rates
- Monday to Friday roster (6:00am – 2:00pm)
- Limited overtime – great for work/life balance
- Work under cover – not affected by weather
- Clean and well-organised manufacturing environment
- Temp to perm opportunities for the right candidates
