Roles & Responsibilities:
- Install, service and maintain plumbing systems, fixtures and equipment
- Perform plumbing maintenance, construction and related works including earthworks, concreting, demolition, vacuum excavation and event servicing
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Identify and repair leaks, blockages and system faults
- Ensure water and drainage systems operate safely and efficiently
- Respond to urgent plumbing maintenance issues as required
- Assist with camp setup and pack-down when required
- Maintain tools, equipment and work areas to a high standard
- Maintain accurate maintenance records
- Work collaboratively with the wider maintenance team while following all site safety procedures
- Australian Recognised Plumber Trade Certificate (Mandatory)
- Minimum 3 years' post-trade plumbing experience
- Willingness to work an 8 days on / 6 days off FIFO roster from Perth
- Based in Western Australia with full Australian work rights
- Ability to provide own tools and comply with site safety protocols
- Gas Fitting Licence (highly regarded)
- Current BHP inductions (advantageous)
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screening
- Able to provide two professional references
- Flexible, adaptable and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Strong communication skills and commitment to workplace safety
- $65.00 per hour flat rate
- FIFO from Perth
- Flights, accommodation and meals provided
- Immediate start from mid-July, subject to pre-employment requirements
- Opportunity for contract extension
