About the role:
Accountabilities

• Lead large-scale enterprise digital transformation programs and complex multi-stream project delivery.
• Deliver multi-million-dollar technology programs with accountability for scope, budget, timeline, benefits, risks, and resources.
• Extensive experience leading Case Management System (CMS) transformation or enterprise application implementations.
• Strong Program & Project Governance, executive reporting, Steering Committee, and Board-level engagement.
• Executive stakeholder management with the ability to influence C-Level, senior leaders, and business executives.
• Manage complex cross-functional teams, vendors, third-party partners, and business stakeholders.
• Strong risk, dependency, issue, financial, and resource management across the full project lifecycle.
• Expertise in program planning, delivery assurance, PMO governance, and benefits realisation.
• Proven ability to lead multiple project streams and drive strategic business and technology outcomes.
• Experience with executive reporting, KPI tracking, delivery metrics, and investment performance.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and capability development of high-performing project teams.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, stakeholder engagement, and change leadership skills.
• Extensive experience using Agile, Waterfall, or Hybrid delivery methodologies.
• Proven success delivering enterprise technology transformation programs within large, complex organisations

Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
You will bring a strong track record of successfully delivering complex IT projects in dynamic environments, with demonstrated accountability for outcomes across the full project lifecycle. You will also have:

• Demonstrated experience leading small to large-scale IT projects with significant organisational impact
• Strong capability in project planning, scheduling, budgeting and resource management
• Proven ability to apply appropriate delivery methodologies (predictive/waterfall, agile or hybrid), tailoring approaches to project context
• Experience establishing and operating project governance, including reporting, risk, issue and change management
• Strong leadership capability, including the ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders without direct authority
• Highly developed stakeholder engagement and communication skills, including working with senior executives
• Ability to manage competing priorities and multiple concurrent deliverables in a complex environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including identifying risks, dependencies and trade offs
• Experience managing vendors and third-party delivery partners
• Demonstrated commitment to delivery quality, continuous improvement, and organisational outcomes

Desirable

• Experience working in a public sector or regulated environment
• Experience delivering IT or digital transformation initiatives
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture, integration or platform-based delivery environments
• Experience contributing to organisational project management frameworks or PMO functions

Qualifications

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Information Technology, Business, Project Management or related discipline
• Professional project management certification Highly Regarded
• PMP Certification
• Demonstrated investment in ongoing professional development
