About the Role

This full-time, ongoing position commencing Term 3, 2026 involves teaching English across the secondary years. The successful teacher will deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons that develop students’ literacy, critical thinking, and communication skills. Working within a supportive faculty, the role offers the opportunity to contribute to curriculum development and promote a strong culture of learning and achievement.

Skills and Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging English curriculum aligned with the Victorian Curriculum
• Maintain a safe, inclusive classroom environment that supports student wellbeing
• Communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues regarding progress and outcomes
• Collaborate with colleagues to plan curriculum and improve student learning
• Contribute to faculty initiatives and the broader school community

Requirements

• Registration with or eligibility for VIT
• Full Australian work rights
• Two referees and completion of HARKE onboarding for safeguarding
