Benefits

  • Night Shift: Monday – Thursday 7:00pm–5:30am | Friday 5:00pm–3:30am | Saturday 1:30pm–7:30pm

Pay Rate / Salary Package

Based on the standard 6-day working week:

  • Weekly earnings: circa $2,650 + super

  • Annual earnings: circa $138,000 + super

The Role

Working within the maintenance team, you'll provide hands-on support to qualified tradespeople across a large-scale heavy industrial processing facility.

This is a practical, site-based position suited to an experienced Trade Assistant who is confident using tools, comfortable working around heavy machinery and keen to develop further within industrial maintenance.

Day to day you will be involved in:

  • Assisting Fitters, Boilermakers and Plumbers with maintenance activities

  • Supporting preventative and breakdown maintenance across fixed plant and production equipment

  • Using hand tools and power tools to assist with mechanical repairs

  • Assisting with equipment repairs, installations and project work

  • Operating a forklift to move materials, equipment and components around site

  • Material handling and general workshop duties

  • Supporting tradespeople during plant maintenance and shutdown activities

  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Trade Assistant, Mechanical TA or Maintenance Assistant

  • Forklift Licence (LF) essential

  • White Card essential

  • Confident using hand tools and power tools

  • Experience within industrial, construction, manufacturing, maintenance or similar environments

  • Comfortable working around heavy industrial plant and machinery

  • Strong attitude towards safety and willingness to learn
