Our client is one of Australia's leading crane manufacturers and service providers, with a national footprint supporting customers across manufacturing, mining, ports, recycling, logistics and heavy industry. Due to continued growth and a strong pipeline of service and maintenance work, they are looking to add additional Electrical Crane Technicians to their Sydney and Newcastle teams.

• Standard hours: Monday – Friday, 7:00am – 3:00pm
• Consistent OT: average between 50–55 hours per week
• Rotating on-call roster (1 week at a time)
• Autonomous field service role with strong support from an experienced team
• Opportunities available in both Sydney and Newcastle
• Sponsorship considered for suitable candidates with a restricted electrical licence
The Role
This is a field service position working across a variety of industrial sites, you will be responsible for servicing, fault finding, breakdown repairs and preventative maintenance on overhead cranes, gantries, hoists and associated lifting equipment.
Duties include:
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Breakdown response and emergency repairs
• Preventative maintenance and inspections
• Testing and commissioning of crane systems
• Working with motors, contactors, VSDs, limit switches and control systems
• Completing service reports and maintenance documentation
Requirements
• Electrical Licence or Restricted Electrical Licence
• Experience working on overhead cranes, hoists or lifting equipment
• Strong industrial fault-finding capability
• Experience within industrial maintenance, field service, automation, materials handling, conveyors, mining or heavy industry
