A well-established community organisation in Melbourne's south east is seeking a Learning Officer to join their People & Culture team on a contract through to December 2026. This is a hands-on role focused on learning coordination, facilitation and organisational development support, making it ideal for someone who enjoys delivering high-quality learning experiences while keeping programs running smoothly.
Working as part of the Organisational Development team, you'll support the delivery of learning initiatives that build capability across the organisation. While there is some project work, the primary focus of this role is coordinating learning activities, facilitating training, supporting onboarding and providing administrative support across learning and organisational development functions.
The organisation is based in Melbourne's south-eastern suburbs, they have onsite parking and a flexible hybrid working model, with three days in the office and two days working from home.

Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate learning and development programs
- Facilitate training sessions, workshops and induction programs.
- Support the delivery and continuous improvement of the organisation's induction and onboarding program.
- Provide organisational development administration and project support.
- Manage learning administration, scheduling, communications and reporting.
- Maintain learning records, resources and systems.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure learning programs are delivered effectively.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives across the People & Culture function.
About You:
- Previous experience in Learning & Development, Organisational Development or Human Resources.
- Essential: Demonstrated experience using PageUp.
- Experience coordinating and facilitating learning programs.
- Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Confident engaging with stakeholders across all levels of an organisation.
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience within local government or a large, complex organisation will be highly regarded.
