Staffing Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:

• Create and maintain the master schedule for nursing staff (RNs, LPNs, and CNAs)
• Coordinate shift coverage for call-offs, vacancies, and schedule changes
• Communicate with staffing agencies as needed to ensure proper coverage
• Track and approve PTO requests and schedule adjustments
• Maintain employee credentials, licenses, and staffing documentation
• Assist with new hire onboarding and scheduling orientation shifts
• Monitor daily staffing levels to ensure compliance with state regulations
• Assist with payroll-related tasks such as tracking hours and attendance
• Provide daily staffing updates to nursing leadership and administration

Qualifications:

• Previous staffing or scheduling experience in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting preferred
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• Experience with scheduling or HR/payroll systems preferred
