    ABOUT THE ROLE

    We’re currently seeking a Customer Service Allocator to join a dynamic and customer-focused logistics team. In this key role, you'll be responsible for coordinating daily transport operations with a strong focus on both customer satisfaction and carrier performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for a detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys problem-solving on the go. You'll be optimising delivery routes, managing relationships with carriers, and contributing to ongoing improvements in transport efficiency and service delivery.

    DUTIES
    • Act as the main point of contact for transport-related enquiries, ensuring customers are kept informed and supported throughout the delivery process.
    • Monitor daily transport activities to ensure services are delivered on time and in line with customer expectations.
    • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with external carriers to ensure service consistency and reliability.
    • Support commercial efficiency by reviewing and negotiating transport terms to align with service and budget objectives.
    • Troubleshoot transport disruptions or delays with urgency and professionalism, ensuring minimal impact to customers.
    • Work closely with internal departments to address recurring issues and contribute to continuous process improvements.
    • Track performance metrics and gather feedback to support service enhancements and operational optimisation.

    • Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and manage negotiations effectively.
    • Comfortable working with data and using insights to inform planning and decision-making.
    • Highly customer-focused, with a genuine drive to deliver outstanding service at every touchpoint.
    • Excellent time management skills, able to juggle competing priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
    • Solutions-focused mindset, always looking for ways to refine processes and boost efficiency.
