To support the growth, they're expanding their People & Culture function and are looking for an experienced HR Advisor to join the team for an initial three-month assignment. You'll be joining a business where your contribution will make an immediate impact.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Created to support the continued growth of both the organisation and the People & Culture function, this is a hands on generalist HR opportunity where no two days are the same. Working closely with the People & Culture Manager, you'll provide support across the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to employee relations, performance management, HR systems and compliance. It's a fantastic opportunity to broaden your generalist HR experience while contributing to a growing and fast-paced business.
DUTIES
- Manage end-to-end recruitment including writing and posting job advertisements, screening candidates and conducting interviews
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding activities
- Support the People & Culture Manager with performance management and employee relations matters
- Maintain employee records, HR documentation and compliance requirements
- Manage and update the Employment Hero HRIS, ensuring data accuracy and system integrity
- Provide first-line HR support by managing the People & Culture inbox and responding to employee and manager enquiries
- Prepare employment contracts, letters and other HR documentation
- Interpret Modern Awards and provide advice on employment conditions
- Support visa administration and right to work compliance
- Assist with People & Culture initiatives and continuous process improvements
- Previous experience in a generalist HR Advisor role
- Demonstrated experience managing end-to-end recruitment
- Experience supporting performance management and employee relations matters
- Sound understanding of Modern Awards and Australian employment legislation
- Knowledge of visa requirements and right-to-work obligations
- Experience using Employment Hero HRIS will be highly regarded
- Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
