This full-time, permanent role will see you supporting customers through the claims process, providing exceptional service while managing a portfolio of claims from lodgement through to resolution. You will work closely with customers, service providers and internal stakeholders to ensure positive outcomes and a seamless claims experience.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage an allocated portfolio of claims, ensuring customers receive timely, professional and empathetic support throughout the claims journey
- Act as the primary point of contact for customers, keeping them informed and updated on claim progress
- Build positive relationships with customers, service providers and internal stakeholders to facilitate efficient claim outcomes
- Review claim information and supporting documentation to assess next steps and make informed recommendations
- Resolve customer enquiries and concerns while delivering a high standard of service
- Ensure claims are managed in accordance with company policies, regulatory requirements and service standards
- Maintain accurate claim records, correspondence and file notes
- Work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to achieve customer and business outcomes
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and support a positive team culture
- Experience in customer service, claims administration, insurance, contact centres, financial services or a related customer-focused environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport and manage a range of customer interactions
- Ability to handle sensitive conversations with empathy, professionalism and resilience
- Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving capabilities
- A proactive approach and genuine passion for helping customers achieve positive outcomes
- Experience working in insurance or claims environments will be highly regarded but is not essential
- Ability to work from the Brisbane CBD office during the initial training period before moving to a hybrid model
- Hybrid working after the initial training period, usually 2 days in office and the remainder from home
