Assistant GM

Executive search firm Monroe Consulting Group is recruiting an Assistant General Manager on behalf of a leading multinational dialysis service provider. The role will be responsible for leading the overall operations and business performance of the organization's nationwide network of centers.  This is an onsite role based in Makati City.

About the role:
The Assistant General Manager is responsible for leading the overall operations and business performance of the organization's nationwide network of centers. This role oversees multi-site operations, financial performance, operational excellence, and strategic growth while ensuring consistent service delivery, regulatory compliance, and achievement of business objectives. The Operations Head leads functional teams, drives continuous improvement initiatives, and collaborates with key stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency, profitability, and patient experience.

Key responsibilities:
1. Business & Financial Management

• Own and deliver annual operating plan (OP) and business targets
• Manage full P&L responsibility across sites
• Monitor financial performance, costs, and revenue streams
• Identify growth opportunities and improve profitability

2. Operations Management

• Oversee operations of 43 centers nationwide
• Ensure consistent, efficient, and compliant center operations
• Conduct quarterly site visits to monitor performance and standards
• Drive operational improvements and process optimization

3. Leadership & Team Management

• Directly manage 3 functional managers
• Build a high-performance culture and coach team members
• Ensure alignment with organizational goals and KPIs

4. Stakeholder & Relationship Management

• Build and maintain strong relationships with doctors and key partners
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth operations
• Act as a key representative of the organization in the healthcare community

5. Strategic Growth & Expansion

• Support business expansion and network growth strategies
• Leverage experience in multi-site operations (e.g., retail or distributed networks) to scale operations
• Drive initiatives to enhance patient services and market reach

Key qualifications:

• A degree in engineering, business administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in operations management
• Experience managing multi-site operations (e.g., retail chains, distributor networks, healthcare networks)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership skills to manage teams effectively and drive performance.
• Experience in implementing operational strategies, continuous improvement, and cost saving initiatives.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Open to work onsite in Makati, from Mondays to Fridays & first Saturday of the month.
