They are a leading provider of high-speed, reliable, and cutting-edge Internet connectivity services for businesses, residents, and events. Our client is expanding its footprint from New Jersey, Florida, and Philadelphia to the vibrant New York City market.


As a Business Development Associate, you'll be at the forefront of our client's expansion, making a significant impact. Your mission? Engage with building owners, property managers, and real estate developers to drive the integration of building-wide Internet services into new and existing properties across the NYC area. Your dynamic approach and strategic thinking will play a pivotal role in this endeavor.

Structure & Compensation


  • Full-Time Opportunity 
  • W2 Position with Benefits
  • $60,000/yr base + commission
  • On Target Earnings 1st Year $90,000 - $100,000/yr+
  • Schedule: Monday - Friday (9am - 5pm) 



Responsibilities


  • Responsible for identifying and engaging building owners, property managers, and real estate developers in order to support the expansion of the building-wide Internet service into new constructions and existing residential properties;
  • Strategic outreach through emails, phone calls, and in-person meetings, and city exploration;
  • Establish and nurture productive, professional relationships with key client’s personnel;
  • Ability to build, educate, and nurture business relationships with high-level real estate executives to achieve success;
  • Ability to clearly articulate the differentiation of our client’s service from the traditional residential Internet service providers;
  • Generate and manage a healthy pipeline of sales opportunities and exceed sales targets;


Position Requirements and Skills


  • At least 1-3 years’ experience in prospecting and closing deals;
  • Not afraid of rejection and able to work with the client’s executive team;
  • The ability to work well in an entrepreneurial environment and "wear multiple" hats when necessary;
  • Proven Sales Experience: A track record of success in sales or business development roles, ideally within the telecommunications, technology, or related industries;
  • Local Market Knowledge: Familiarity with the NYC market, including an understanding of residential real estate trends and key players in the industry;
  • Relationship Building: Exceptional ability to establish and nurture professional relationships with property managers, real estate developers, and homeowners;
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective presentations and negotiations with clients;
  • Goal-Oriented: Results-driven mindset with the determination to meet and exceed sales targets;
  • Self-Motivation: Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team, demonstrating self-initiative and resourcefulness;
  • Adaptability: Comfort in a fast-paced environment, with the flexibility to adjust strategies based on market dynamics;
  • Passion and Enthusiasm: An inherent drive to contribute to the expansion of client's services in the NYC market and a genuine passion for the world of business development and technology;
  • Patience: Ability to maintain composure and patience, especially during complex negotiations and relationship-building efforts;
  • Having a car is a necessary;
