The school is seeking a capable and engaging English teacher. The ideal candidate will have strong curriculum knowledge, a passion for literacy and literature, and the ability to build rapport with adolescents. Experience in middle years teaching is highly valued.
Skills and Responsibilities

Curriculum – Deliver engaging and structured English lessons aligned with the Victorian Curriculum

Safeguarding – Maintain a safe and respectful classroom environment

Literacy Focus – Support students’ reading, writing, and analytical skills

Differentiation – Cater to diverse learning needs in Years 8–9

Team Collaboration – Work with colleagues on curriculum and student progress

Registration: Candidates must hold or be eligible to obtain VIT Teacher Registration

Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role

Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE’s onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements
