The role
You’ll be involved in a wide range of geotechnical projects, supporting investigations, analysis and design across residential, commercial and infrastructure developments.
Key responsibilities include:
- Planning and undertaking geotechnical investigations
- Soil and rock logging, analysis and interpretation
- Preparation of geotechnical reports and recommendations
- Foundation design and land stability assessments
- Supporting natural hazard and site suitability assessments
- Liaising with clients, contractors and regulatory authorities
- Contributing to multidisciplinary project teams
About you
- BE Civil (or similar) with a geotechnical focus
- Approximately 3–6 years’ geotechnical experience
- Experience in site investigations and reporting
- Understanding of NZ geotechnical practice and standards
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication and a team-oriented mindset
