Machine Operator

Responsibilities

  • Sort, fold, separate and count received items

  • Inspect received items for damage or irregularities

  • Operate light industrial machinery and adjust machine settings according to the type and volume of items being processed

  • Load and unload items from machines, ensuring proper operation and handling of materials

  • Sort and classify items according to the production process

  • Organize and package products to be delivered to customers

  • Maintain accurate records of items processed and prepare them for return to customers

  • Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet production targets

  • Report any equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisors immediately

Qualifications and Skills

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to operate light machinery and equipment safely and efficiently

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks, lift items up to 50 lbs, and standing/walking for duration of shift

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team

Benefits/Compensation

  • Full Time

  • Pay Rate is $14.25 per hour

  • 3rd Shift 10pm-6am

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts

  • Benefits available while employed through Career Concepts

  • Temp-To-Hire

  • Benefits after Probation period
