Office Clerk

Our client is seeking a friendly, professional, and customer-focused Office Clerk to serve as the primary point of contact for their local sales office. This individual will play an important role in supporting customers, sales staff, and vendors while ensuring daily office operations run smoothly. The ideal candidate is organized, dependable, presents themselves professionally, and enjoys working in a fast-paced office environment. Previous office experience is welcome, but motivated entry-level candidates—especially those with business administration education—are encouraged to apply, as training will be provided.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for customers visiting or calling the office

  • Answer and manage a multi-line phone system

  • Provide administrative support to the sales team

  • Act as a liaison between customers, vendors, and sales staff

  • Perform general office and clerical duties

  • Enter data into the company's QuickBooks accounting system

  • Coordinate product orders and shipment scheduling

  • Maintain accurate records and documentation

  • Utilize Microsoft Office programs to complete daily tasks

  • Work independently while supporting a collaborative team environment

  • Assist with additional office projects as assigned

  • Occasionally work overtime during employee vacations or annual open house preparation

Qualifications and Skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills

  • Professional, polished, and customer-facing appearance

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office

  • QuickBooks experience is preferred but not required

  • Business Administration education or office administration experience is a plus

  • Positive attitude with a strong work ethic and team-first mentality

Benefits/Compensation
  • Full Time

  • First shift (8am – 5pm)  

  • $20+/hr based on experience

  • Temp to hire position  

  • Weekly pay while employed through Career Concepts
