About the PositionThis full-time fixed-term position commences in Semester 2, 2026 and includes teaching Year 10 Fundamentals of Business, Year 9 Business Enterprise, and Victorian Pathways Certificate (VPC/VM) rotations. The VM component provides a unique opportunity for educators to design and deliver engaging life skills and project-based learning experiences aligned to their own interests, strengths and passions. Whether focused on practical skills, entrepreneurship, community engagement, technology, sport or creative pursuits, this role offers flexibility to create meaningful learning experiences that prepare students for life beyond school.
Skills and Responsibilities- Deliver Year 10 Fundamentals of Business and Year 9 Business Enterprise programs.
- Design and facilitate engaging VM/VPC rotational subjects focused on life skills and applied learning.
- Foster student engagement through practical, inquiry-based and project-based learning experiences.
- Build positive relationships with students, families and colleagues to support student success.
- Contribute to curriculum planning, faculty initiatives and the broader life of the school.
- Registration: Must hold or be eligible for Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.
- Work Rights: Full working rights in Australia are essential for this role.
- Safeguarding: Applicants must provide two current referees and complete HARKE's onboarding process to meet safeguarding requirements.
